Will radiation therapy make all my hair fall out?
Radiation therapy only makes hair fall out in the area that has been irradiated. If you have pleural mesothelioma, you could lose hair on your chest or back. If you have radiation therapy to your abdomen, you could lose hair on your abdomen or lower back.
Since there is no reason to irradiate the head for mesothelioma, you should not lose the hair on your head during radiation treatment.
