Palliative
Palliative is another way of saying, symptom-improving. Palliative treatment helps people to feel better, but is not curative. It is anything that helps relieve symptoms. For mesothelioma, it can include pain medicine, and various surgical procedures, such as interventions to remove fluid from the pleural space. Palliative procedures help improve quality of life.
