You have a right to copies of all your medical records. You must request copies (in writing) from each doctor, and pay a fee to have them copied. It is a very good idea for you to keep copies of all your records, not just doctor visits, but all your test results. You will then be sure to have them if you are visiting a new doctor. It is a good idea to start requesting copies of your medical records as soon as you get your diagnosis, if it isn’t something you are already doing.
