Are their different types of mesothelioma? What are the differences?
There are four types of mesothelioma according to location, but two of these are rare. They are named after the type of mesothelium involved. Most mesotheliomas are in chest, and the second most common place is in the abdomen. After that, there are some around the heart, and a rare few in the genital area.

Mesotheliomas can also be distinguished by cell types. Most, around 60%, are epithelioid, and have the better chance at treatment. Around 20% are sarcomatoid, and the others are mixed combinations of these.
