Carboplatin
Carboplatin is from the same class of drugs as cisplatin, called alkylating agents. They both stop the growth of the cancer cells which leads to the death of the cancer cells.
It is used in some protocols instead of cisplatin. It is one of the drugs being tested in clinical trials as part of combination therapy.
