Usually, the doctor who started evaluating you for this problem will give you the diagnosis. It might be your primary care provider. If you were already referred to an oncologist, that is probably who will give you the diagnosis. They should tell you if the pathologist was sure, and if they are sure, based on all the information available. A good doctor will tell you if there is any doubt.
